Our Story

Our Story

Podology was established in 2010, by directors Liz Horton-Short and Nick Short.

Liz and Nick met outside of the landscape industry to find that they both had a passion for landscape and design. At the time, Liz was working as a Landscape Architect in the corporate sector, and Nick was studying Landscape Architecture.

Driven by their common goals and interest in landscape, Podology provides the platform from which Liz and Nick continue to inspire their clients, their team and each other.

Since its conception, the company has grown steadily and is fast becoming one of Sydney’s distinguished landscaping organisations.

Nick Short

Director

Nick has had a diverse career in Landscape, beginning some 21 years ago in London, UK. During his time in London, Nick developed his construction and maintenance knowledge, building and maintaining various elite residential landscapes. Upon his return to Australia, Nick followed his interest in landscape design, deciding to hone his design talents by embarking on a degree in Landscape Architecture.

After working in the landscape architectural profession for 4 years, Nick returned to the landscape construction industry to get his hands dirty once again and complete his structural landscaping license. Nick’s extensive experience in landscape construction and his eye for detail, ensure that our projects are always delivered to the highest of quality.
